  5. Provide detailed specifications for proposed solutions including materials, manpower, and time necessary.

  6. Assist other department engineers in creating practical demonstrations of proposed solutions and demonstrating them to other members of the team.

  7. Establish milestones for necessary contributions from departments and develop processes to facilitate their collaboration.

  1. Prepare calculations on the proposed machine before completing technical drawings.

  2. Sketch and draw up designs using input from engineers and architects on the team.

  3. Calculate factors like tolerance, dimensions, and thermal and structural analysis.

  4. Create designs in line with company procedure, regulations and client standards.

  5. Submit drawings to upper management and construction teams.

  6. Use customer feedback and data to upgrade, improve or repair the company's existing machines.

  7. Provide support during the building and installation process, ensuring that the machine is built properly and according to design specifications.

  8. Finalize designs and send prints to the production department.

  1. Create design concepts and drawings to determine the best product

  2. Present product ideas to relevant team members for brainstorming

  3. Suggest improvements to design and performance to product engineers

  4. Employ design concepts into functional prototypes

  6. Maintain up to date on current industry trends and market conditions

  7. Coordinate with designers to ensure accurate communication and efficiency in the design phase

  8. Modify and revise existing designs to meet customer expectations
